Laurence Compain : Les années Sacrée Soirée

On occasions she is well remembered as "Laurence…of Sacrée Soirée" or "Mme Cagnotte". Laurence Compain effectively spent seven years on "Sacrée Soirée" with Jean-Pierre Foucault. Laurence was finally successful and was part of the enormous success of the programme until it finally came to an end in 1994. It was transmitted on every Wednesday, or Thursday if there was a football match on the previous evening. The programme had a viewing audience of more than 10 million and had between 45 and 50% of the market share. A success due to the original concept of "Sacrée Soirée", with surprises for its guests relating to their pasts. For her part, Laurence Compain hosted the game in which it was possible for someone to win 100 000 francs at the end of the programme and 10 000 francs at each prize draw, if the person who was called was able to give the date of birth of the guest who was on the previous set.
